RACISM HAS NOT ENDED!

RECENTLY 60 CAMPERS FROM A NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA CAMP WAS ALLEGEDLY TURNED AWAY FROM A PRIVATE POOL BECAUSE THEY WERE BLACK. WATCH THE STORY HERE:





Let's be ALL THE WAY honest with ourselves here and think about what racism REALLY is. Just because our president is of African descent doesn't mean that racism has gone away. Racism is not a disease that can be cured, many people are raised around racism. So what do we do? Well, the Northeast Philadelphia camp handled this situation very well. None of the parents acted in an ignorant manner once they found out that their children were discriminated against. However, I can't help but to ask, didn't the owner of the private pool know that these children were minorities? I don't think they would allow the camp to come if they felt that the kids would be a danger to anyone. The whole incident is ignorant and hard for me to grasp! Now I could put my personal thoughts on this, however we would be here all day. So to sum up my thoughts, racism has not ended, and as a nation we should be aware of racism and act accordingly when racism is brought to our attention. It doesn't mean to retaliate, it doesn't mean to march, it simply means to educate the ignorant!
I say this to not offend any leader who has used those techniques but we are coming across a different time where we ALL need to THINK smarter and become WISER!
