CAN I HAVE A SMILE WITH THAT PLEASE?!?



We all have experienced bad customer service one time or another, right? However, every time I encounter a rude cashier or customer service rep, it always irks me! So here’s the scenario! I needed to get my glasses repaired and I forgot where the eye glasses shop was located in the mall. So, I ask this young lady that was behind a jewelry counter where was the eye glasses shop located. Do ya’ll know she had an instant attitude! I don’t know what her day was like, but her job is to provide good customer service while she is on her shift. I am the most reasonable person out there, but I can’t take impolite people! Soon as she screwed up her face, I felt my face screw up as well(I’m not good at hiding my facial expressions either) which was not a good thing. Another problem that I face when I approach people is that I look younger than my age. Therefore, the cashier interaction with me is based on an assumption of me being 16 rather than 21(sigh, its not my fault I have the young gene). What these employees don’t understand is that WE, the customers feed off of their energy. If their service is bad, they will receive bad feedback! So, for all of you working in customer service that come across my blog, can we have a smile with that please?!?
